hey guys im new to the web site and have been reading some posts the apst few days and wanted to know if valentine1 only detects radar and laser and not a cop car driving on the street?
it picks up a cop car from the special dyes found only in cop cars i dont know the name of it but it has a special transmission that is sent out so that the V1 will detect where the cars are located at.
Ok let me give an experienced answer here. The V1 will pick up X, K, KA, and LASER. It is known for having superior laser detection. Also, KU and it has a Europe mode for those overseas (Photo radar). It only alerts if the LEO is running radar and does NOT pick up a cop car by itself only if he has his radar on.

Too many people assume that their RD is going to detect a cop on the road -- this is ONLY true if the LEO has their radar gun turned on.

wouldent it be called a cop detector then?

Something like The Cop Detector 1000.
