ur cig lighter might be lose.

If the inner wall of your cig is spinning or it just wabbles then you might need to tighting it, sometimes you can get a rag or somethign non-metal (or just disconnect the battory) and hand tighting it from the inside. Good luck! be safe

why not just hard wire it? having an ugly wire across your dash and or up your windsheild just looks sloppy IMO.
