    Default Bogey Counter!

Finally the bogey counter paid for itself today. On my way past a local tire center that I drive be about twice a week and get 2 on the counter, well today I got 4! What the heck; so I slow down and see a speed sign, well that is the 3rd, where is the 4th. Arrows kept pointing ahead and as soon as I pass the speed sign, guess who is behind it?!

He pulled out after me. I know he seen the detector. He followed me through town for a couple of miles, probable calling in my plates cause he was angry that I had the V1 sitting right in the middle of the windsheild and wanted an excuse to pull me over.

The V1 is the total AWACS system, that would be a good letter to send into V1 moments. Work on that free jacket

You mean 3.818 so you have the flawed "J" code alerting a false alarm to a real police radar.
Send it in for an updated software but I would not let them put in 3.824 (Euro mode) until they fix the K band automute problem.
You would probably get it done for free.

I wish my bogey counter worked like that :-(

I drove around with a friends 1.7 the other week. the arrows were right on, when driving by a falsing spot the arrows would be only to the sides.

My 1.8 the arrows are everywhere and the bogey meter jumps up and down so fast its impossible to determine if its a real threat or not.

Guess I can't speed in that area.

Maybe that's your problem with your love/hate relationship with your V1.
You just got a defective one that needs repair.
See you should have never sent back your first V1 after just two days!

The one I returned after 2 days I put through about 10 hours of testing. I admit it may have rushed to conclusions on it- I mean the 430 dollar pricetag wasnt helping any. (30$ for tax since i picked it up at VR)

But none the less, that unit did the same as my current and would jump around all over the place.

Thats what happens when you jack the sensitivity though.

Must be all those X bands.
Too bad your police use it as turning it off cuts about 90% falsing.
