Move the knob on your unit. Does it move side to side slightly, or is it rock solid? Mine moves slightly and want to know if it's normal. The knob is connected to the PCM inside the unit and the board flexs a little.

mine feels pretty solid, but your is most likely just fine
You made me go out to the garage in my bunny slippers to check out it, thanks alot!Mine moves very slightly but I don't think it's anything to worry about.
