Just thought about this a couple days ago...and it may have already been answered...so I apologize if it has.
The older V-1 had numerous little laser lens/eyes on the front/bottom of the detector. Then Mike went to a single, bigger one.
What was the logic behind this? His explanation with having the little, numerous lens/eyes cover more reception. Obviously having the bigger one works better cuz the specs are better. But with having more "area" to detect with the numerous lens, that STILL seems like a better concept that one big laser eye.
