Well I just returned my RX65 (which I bought off ebay, my mistake) and purchased a V1 (3.861) and have used it for 3 days. The reason I returned the RX65 was that it failed to detect 2 direct hits from LIDAR, 1 which got me ticketed at 1452 feet! So this morning on my way to work, I'm just about to crest a hill and the V1 Laser alert goes nuts. I brake and lo and behold, a Leo is parked about 1/2 mile down the road on the right side. Fortunately, I was in the right lane, with a car in the left lane serving as the fearless leader, so I was able to brake and feel safe that I wasn't the target. The V1 stayed lit the entire time, up until about 100 feet from the Leo.
Needless to say, the V1 stomped the RX65 in LIDAR detection. It's a keeper!
FYI, the location of the LIDAR Leo was on Hwy 36 just north of Hwy 164 near Waterford, WI. I was nailed by a different LIDAR Leo on the same road, near Wind Lake, WI (about 3 miles away). Heads up for WI drivers!
