Default Another problem to report w/ the V1

Well the other day I was using my V1 and a GMRS/FRS radio.

I was talking on Channel 22 and it kept setting off the V1's K band. I thought at first it was a leo. But it happened throughout the whole trip.

Being that the radio is on the 400MHZ band, I'M a bit disappointed that the V1 is set off by the radio.

The Radio was used in a vehicle with the X50 too , however the X50 never falsed to the Radio.

It's not perfect but you can send it to VR and let them check it out. What's the version number?

FRS doesn't set off my 3.826. Maybe your FRS has poor harmonic suppression when it transmits.

How close is your FRS radio and antenna to the V1? If they're really close, it's possible that the FRS is interfering with the IF stages in the V1 and making it false. See if you can separate them and see if that makes a difference.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

According to vr's website frs does false the v1, sat radio's do but only at close proximity to the aerial.

Cliffords proximity sensor on their car alarms false the v1 on ka band, when its inside the car and on k band at close 5 inch.

It may also false the x band..
