    To all the V1 owners, zombies, and haters of the V1:


    VALENTINE ONE REPORT CARD


    GOL Radar Detector Test - August 2005

    Winner of X band detection test
    Winner of K band detection test
    Winner of 35.5 Ka band detection test (tie)
    Winner of Ka Band 67ms POP detection test
    Winner of K Band 16ms POP detection test
    No Ku band detection test was done


    GOL Radar Detector Test - January 2006

    Winner of X band detection test
    Winner of K band detection test
    Winner of 34.7 Ka band detection test
    Winner of Ku band detection test
    No POP detection test was done


    GOL Radar Detector Test - October 2006

    No X band detection test was done
    Winner of K band detection test
    Winner of 33.8 Ka band detection test
    Winner of 35.5 Ka band detection test
    67ms Ka band POP over the hill detection test was done but no detector
    alerted
    No Ku band detection test was done


    GOL Radar Detector Test - March 2007

    Winner of X band detection test
    Winner of K band detection test
    Winner of 33.8 Ka band detection test
    Winner of 35.5 Ka band detection test (SR7 was not mounted under the bumper or inside the grill as stated in installation manual)
    Winner of Ku band detection test
    Winner of 67ms POP detection test (K band POP and Ka band POP combined)


    Note: The GOL team has not conducted an official laser detection or rear radar detection test but we already know the outcome. :wink:

    Yep, the V1 is pretty much the undisputed when it comes to detection Also, been rather consistant at it too.

    Too bad it doesn't have a scanning dot/+....... jk
    But seriously, it would be really cool if somehow a Spec meter could be integrated in there, for those Ka encounters.

    finally someone steps up and declares the winner. everybody else has been avoiding the whole question of who won. hands down the best overall performer regardless of price - THE V1. read em and weep.

    I think there is a mistake at the bottom next to the Pro73 under X band, the Pro73 had 1192 feet which has to be wrong.

    I wish the V1 would have done better in the 34.7Ghz test.. but still.. rock on, V1!

    Yes your correct when you look at the GOL test it is actually 1278 do it did better than reported in that analysis but that really isn't enough to throw the over all results off.
