Default Mr Valentine...How about it ?

    Dear Mr. Valentine,
With the SML tests completed we have proof that your V1 can be modified to be invisble to detection by the Stalcar/Spectre.
A group of Engineers from Australia including Roy Zegers of ARDS have beaten this RDD using your detector.
There is no doubt that your present product an excellent RD and I personally am seriously considering a V1 as my next RD.
Living in Ontario Canada where RD's are illegal a "Stealth" V1 would be everything we could ask for.
It's time to broaden your horizons and become a truly "World Class" RD manufacturer. The best in The World.
So how about it Mr. Valentine?
I urge you to collaborate with Zegers and Company, bring us what we Canadians, Australian's, European's, US Trucker's etc. have been waiting for.
A Stealth RD with superoir capabililties.
    Thank You

I would have a lot of respect for VR if they would address this problem with an ultimate solution. They would also make LOADS of money.

Mike V. already earns loads of money! 8)

besides, if he wants it to be invisible, then wait till v1.9 arrives.

    I highly doubt it.

Maybe V1 1.8999999999999999 with firmware 3.8999999999999999999999999999999999999999 Revision 98734 will be Spectre proof.

this may motivate him to fix this spectre problem!

    we will have to see!

problem is as mike told me is that its hard to say if they can beat the spectre aswell as making the rd perform the same!

as that little bit just blocks any signal under 20ghz! so ku band is out of the window and full coverage isnt there!

mike will only do it when he has stealth aswell as full coverage!

i'm sure mike has tried everything under the moon to sealth it!
he knows how they work he's been making them since 1976 so by now he should have a good idea!

i just dont think that it can be done not without degrading performance!

its probibly to hard..... if you look no radar detector maker has come out and said hay i have long range and full stealth!

if it was that easy mike would be battling it out with escort and bel!

he has electronic technicians and millions worth of rd making techno stuff!
if he hasnt done it buy now i cant see this happening just yet!

an interview with an rd maker would be nice!

Making the V1 sprectre proof kills X band detection. I live in NJ and NEED god X band detection.

Negative. You would be just fine.

I think you are thinking of the waveguide attachment for the Bel975/Target966 Euro. That attenuates everything below 2GHz. Apparently the Aussie modification to the V1 works on a different principle.
