Which V1 is the best for all around detection, staying in tune, and has the least issues?

Unless someone has or has tried all of those that you included... How on earth will anyone ever know?

This poll is kind of tainted because a lot of people will just vote for what version they have. Case in point - 2 people have voted for the 3.861 which is brand new but has some bugs to be worked out. There is no way that it is the "best for all around detection, staying in tune, and has the least issues"

The only way someone would vote objectively, would be if they have been reading this board for at least a year - and they are open minded.

X2, Not to mention some V1's (the units themselves) are better then others...

Like I have the .826 which was supposed to be the 'fix all' best V1 that ever came out, everyone was raving about how good it was and yeah mine certainly isn't.

So it will be very very hard to get an objective POV.

But I will say the effort (thought process) behind ur post is good.

    Toss up between 3.813 & 3.826 w/ POP off.
3.826(POP off) has slightly better Ka detection than 3.813 (or so I've read).
But 3.813 will not "J" a real threat.

Not much 1.7 users left but, very few issues, never out of tune, always led in laser yet it was improved in 1.8 only to false much more,
K band ghosting was my biggest disappointment w/1.8
1.7 gets an occasional second Ka as you pass a K sign but never a second K on a single K source.
Even though 1.8 is supposed to be better on Ka when I compared I could not tell the difference.

Upgrading does bring other benefits, including our latest laser warning (front and rear), which outperforms the competitors by a wide margin, and POP Protection. Also, you'll get the new Euro Mode.
