    Default 3.813vs3.858vs3.861vs2.909 1.7 K on K band

Well here is what I got vs stationary K band (cop car in police station parking lot) over a big hill. I took 2 passes per detector and got nearly identical results everytime. All units were on A mode with POP turned off. All were mounted on the same spot on the windshield and one unit at a time was powered on and tested

    1st place by about 200' 3.813 1.8
    2nd place 1.7 2.909
    3rd place 3.858 (barely losing to the 1.7 2.909)
4th place 3.861 (barely losing to the 3.858)

These same units will be sent to Michael B. for lab sensitivity testing. I am curious to see if they will shadow mine.

I wonder what the results would be if you had POP turned on where applicable?

    Worse. POP on diminishes performance

When will you be testing Ka?

I have outstanding K and X range. I guess 250' is arguably better but I'm happy with my 3.861.

I doubt that turning POP off on the V1 would affect K band sensitivity. It would only affect the shortest pulse it will pick up, and that even may not be affected on K band.

. You can test five of the same versions and come out with five different results.

. 250 feet is about one half of 1/10 of a mile and isn't significant. It would be nice if all the V1's would perform the same.

On a long straight road, a 250 ft. difference is not that big. But this test was done with a radar over the hill, so this difference is more significant.

So three of the V1s were very close in peformance, but one was hotter on K band. I don't think this is due to sofware differences. With RF devices like this, they are not going to all peform exactly the same.
