Concealed Display in Lexus GS300

Test fit pictures of the display in the GS. Seems like it was designed to fit in the GS 300 Ashtray, its a perfect fit, and it closes perfectly to concealed when not using it. Not going to hardwire it because I'm getting rid of my v1, but the pictures are here for anyone else who wants to. When you pull the ashtray out there's ton of room to work, and you can kook it up to cigarette's power.

Looks good, but I wouldn't have put it there - you have to take your eyes off the road and instrument panel just to look at it.

I agree. I just love how it would be 100% out of sight when I'm not using it. I already have plans for my future GTO. They have a panel on the top of the dash, hoping I can make it pop up or hook it up to an actuator, with the concealed display underneath.
