    Default Solargard HP True Grey

    Hello,

I've had my V1 for about 5 months or so now, and I'm probably going to tint my windows in the near future. I know the True Grey film is a "hybrid" film, which means it has a metallic as well as a dyed film in it. Searching through this site, I found http://www.radardetector.net/viewtop...highlight=tint , which leads me to believe metallic tint won't be so bad. Does anyone actually have Solargard HP True Grey on their car? I'm not so concerned with losing a little detection, I'm more concerned with having my arrows freak out and become near useless. Any help/comments would be appreciated.

I wouldn't personally use metallic tint but you might want to call Valentine Research at 1 800 331 3030 and ask them their opinion.

Why not go somewhere that uses Formula One tint? They are amongst the best in the biz (if not THE best) in Window Tint film and they offer a Ceramic Tint that does not interfere with the V1 or other electronics.
