V1 J'd real Ka threat again.

Today my V1 J'd out a real Ka threat. I had my STi and confirmed it was Ka @35.5Ghz. So I called Valentine and explained the situation. They recommended I send my V1 in for a checkup.

In my town it is all Ka @35.5Ghz and K band. For some reason my V1 has J'd out this LEO before. I know it is the same LEO is because he drives a D.A.R.E Jeep. But, for some reason it is just the one LEO that I seem to J out. The other LEO's running 35.5Ghz don't seem to be a problem for my V1. Could the Jeep have a slightly out of tune radar gun?

Also, it seems like my V1 gives inconsistent warnings to false alarms. Some days it alerts longer than other days. I know there are so many factors that could cause this, but I guess I should just send it in to Mike to be safe. What do you think?

Turn off pop if it is not used. According to many, it increases your J out potential. I had a j out when mine was turned on also but no J outs since.

J outs are fewer with POP off. I have had one instance where my V1 Jed out a state trooper (they run Stalkers around here), but the running theory is that this can happen in certain circumstances if there is a LEO running Ka and a Crapra nearby at the same time. If the V1 picks up the Crapra's harmonics, it may mistakenly associate them with the radar and J out the LEO.

And this could very well be what happened today. There were a lot of cars around, so I can't rule out that a Crapra caused the J. However, this is the 2'nd time it J'd out while alerting to this particular LEO. Still I can't rule out the Crapra theory.

My V1 rarely J's. Most of my driving is non highway. New Jersey has a lot of traffic too. I have 3.861. Could it be that Valentine has tuned the V1 nearly perfect in this release? BTW, I have POP on.
