3.813 - Inbound :)

Picked up a 3.813 on eBay today. Should be in around tuesday or wednesday, so we'll see if it deserves the hype. Should be prefaced that l expect to be running this exclusively with the speed cheetah mirror, so it will be like a 9500i on steroids.

I still love my STi, but I guess once you have been bitten by the zombie virus it's not cure-able.

I'll probably run them together for a day or so to see if it's close to being in tune, then regardless it's going back to the mother land for a new case, lens, and a tune up.

The 3.813 IMO is VR's best version and perhaps THE detector to own

So 375 + 45 for V1 to get me a new case, lens, & a tune up.

With the Cheetah mirror this " could " be the closest thing to perfection...

the search for "perfect" in this industry, could be like the search for the leprechauns pot of gold it's just not gonna happen.

even with the cheetah mirror I still won't have a linear audible ramp up, or tones that I like...

"IF" only I could use the V1 tones but have it mute them out if I'm under a specific speed... now that could be close to perfect.

It must be hard to find a 3.813

Most of these idiots on ebay dont even know there is a specific revision to their 1.8. They just think its either 1.7 or 1.8.
