v1 ver 3.858

After having some doubts about my V1's Ver 3.851 not having enough sensitivity to Ka photo radar in my city I decide to send it in for service.

I got back my detector but as a ver. 3.858. V1 tech told me they changed out 4 modular components and verified its performance prior to shipping it back to me.

Yesterday night I was driving along one of the streets in town well know for photo radar and my V1 gave me a significant amount of warning (compared to almost none before).

Has anyone here confirmed that ver 3.858 has better Ka detection than ver 3.851?

How much was the upgrade to go from 3.851 to 3.858?

When I sent my 3.851 in (received the 'E') it came back with 3.858 - no charge and 2 day expressed it back. Ka isn't used much around here so I can't say if it's better or not. I will say the few dozen Ka hits I've received, the range was outstanding.
