Anybody wanna sell a Version 1.7? My FX35 needs it!

I can't use Laser on my V1 with my fx35.... the 1.7's won't be a problem I guess... and CHP just bought 500 Laser guns it looks like... I can't drive with it off anymore...

It's been off for a year now, since I moved over to an fx35.... but I want to turn it back on bad.... I need too... so I need to find a 1.7 that won't alert to it.... I heard that might be the answer.

A piece of black tape over the FX35's laser emitter would solve the problem nicely. Plus it'll be doing other V1 owners on the road a favor too.

true, but I heard that it messes up the brake assist as well... as that is locked on all the time. I never use the cruise control, but it is always on anyway.... black tape I have heard can cause the brakes to lock up.

Nah, it won't cause your brakes to lockup, you'll just lose the "safety feature" of adaptive braking.

I had heard there were issues with it.... so I am a little cautious on covering it.... but I will have too soon with the Laser units the CHP is picking up.

Do you know for sure the 1.7 will not alert to it? And the signal from your vehicle may interfere with detection of a police laser, even with a 1.7. You need to talk to VR about those issues.

You may have to turn laser off and get a jammer. I don't know of anyone in the US that has been busted for having a laser jammer. But OTOH it theoretically is possible.

yeah it is off already and has been for over a year now... don't like driving like that at all!
I read on hear that 1.7 won't be set off, but I can't remember where.... A jammer is something that I am looking into asap... it's just they are hard to installl and pricey.... but worth it in the long run I guess.
