The whole 33.8 thing pissed me off a bit. That and the misleading Craig Petersen thing so I returned the Sti. It was good detector and it did save me a couple of times while on our trip down in California, but I felt like there's another model that has everything I wanted in a RD, the V1.
Mike Valentine's patents really has a hold on the market which allows him to (for the most part) produce a RD without equal. So I'm looking forward to purchasing one. I don't have to buy one right now as I don't have any trips coming up soon, and my commute to work is pretty dense so the traffic usually goes the speed limit. Does VR have anything that they're working on that the current models do not have where maybe I should wait to but a new one?
Also, does the V1 have a quick mount where I can click the V1 onto the suction cup apparatus like the Beltronics models?
