    Default Yet another hardwire question

Ok so I got the add-a-circuit thing from autozone and I'm wanting to hardwire my V1. So I know the red wire of the hardwire goes to the blue ended wire of the add-a-circuit. So do I have to break off that hard blue plastic piece off the add-a-circuit to be able to crimp the v1's red hardwire to it? Also I assume I break off the be plasic housing (female adapter) off the red wire of the v1 hardwire?

Also another thing... I know it needs to connect to 12V, but all my circuits or whatever in the fuse box are either 10V or 15V. Which one do I go to? Also which fuses need to be plugged into the add-a-circuit, if any? Thanks for the help guys.

And the blue wire goes to ground... that is the one thing I DO know.

go to the 10v insert 2 of these 1 for the detector one for the fuse slot you're using, also the blue housing is to insert the red wire then crimp it to create a good connection don't break it off. the black wire is to ground with the little benzel.

Ok so just cut the end off the red wire from hardwire, strip end, and place it in blue piece and crimp?\

    What is the little benzel?

Also the add-a-circuit says it's only rated for 10V... Is that a problem?

    1. insert 2 fuses

    2. yep just strip and then insert and crimp

    3. did you get the direct wire? it comes with a little fastener and you have to ground it to get a full connection.

    no, i think it's 10amps not 10v, i could be wrong though

ya it came with my kit and made everything super easy. I've used them in many other projects and seem to work really well

Well I'm not around my car or the vampire clip or whatever, but when I do get home I plan on finishing the hardwire.

How does the vampire clip work, or rather... what does it do? Will someone go into detail about it for me please?
