Pre-warning on laser?

How many of you have a v1 and have had a prewarning on laser? This is in no way to start flaming or bashing. After you post, please state what version you have.

Yes, following cars from a safe distance and getting scatter.
Which version before my update to 25, I know it was the first to have Pop1 officially.

How would you know it was a pre-warning? Unless you're the officer looking through the scope I'm not sure how people could possibly know the laser alert wasn't a result of their own car being targeted and not someone elses.

good point you would have to have a Laser Jammer to know if you got a pre-alert...even then you have to be sure it wasn't a false

I am 100% sure I have recieved a pre-laser warning at least 2 times on the NJ state parkway. There are always a bunch of guys speeding together so I just hang back behind them a quarter mile. I got a warning around a slight bend in the road. about a half mile later I finally saw the cop and got hit with laser.

If you hear the alert, and then it stops, and then it alerts again. Most likely, it was a pre alert the first time and the second time it was you!

I've had this happen on a few several occasions. My sig states my detector type and firmware revision.

I have 3.819 and have had prewarnign about 3 times. One of these times is documented on my video

I can count on one hand how many times I've been hit with laser, but I can think of three times where I may have had a pre-warning.

1. My very first laser encounter, in 1999 in NY, I crested a hill and saw a cruiser parked sideways in the median. I had a Bel Vector STi then and it sounded laser alerts 3 or 4 times before I passed him.

2. Last year in NJ, I encountered a NJ statey on the parkway and my V1 sounded Laser twice if I recall correctly. So one was either a pre-warning or it was a post-warning.

3. Again last year, on Route 101 in NH, I saw a cruiser off in the distance in the median, and my V1 sounded Laser, but the alert was longer than usual. Either it was a pre-warning followed by the kill shot, or it took him a few seconds to clock my speed (I had no countermeasures on my car at the time, but he was well over 1000 feet away at the time of the alert).

Both #2 and #3 were with the V1 I currently have, which is listed in my sig.

4x on my old 813 . 4 lane roads veil would not of saved me too close (within 100 foot)

My pre-warning on laser was on my X50, which then went to the Blinder afterwards.
