V1 work on X50 Wire?

Thinking about Purchasing a V1.
Will the Escorts SmartCord work
with it so I don't have to rewire.
A far fetched question but worth asking?

I may want to run my X50 sometime as
well. It would be nice to only have one
wire ran.

the V1 will work but you can't switch modes, nor will the mute button work.

you could re-wire with the v1 hardwire and both will work great.

Humm.... I hate that the mute button won't work.
Well, at least it works. I doubt that I'll rewire, I
took so many panela off last time and snaked everything
through that I wouldn't want to put forth all that effort again.

That's what I'm doing. I have the X50 wired now and I'm leaving that and adding a hard wire for my V1 with the X50 tucked out of site.

I had an X50 hard wired and my wire did not work with my V1. That being said, I did not have an official Escort brand wire. It was a home made kit I bought off of ebay.

That's weird it did on my bel wire....my v1 powered up.... :?
