Since I had to pull my Escort radar horn to send back for re-tuning I got a V1 for backup.
Then of course I saw they included a direct wire kit with it so while I was pulling the horn I decided to install the V1 kit as well. Then after I discovered the SR7 won't stop beeping "check reciever" when the horn is removed I went ahead and pulled the SR7 display and put the ZR3 in it's place.
Old technique for running wire under cockpit trim. Works better than a credit card.

Not quite as stealthy as the SR7 but I need the rear radar reciever to have a clear view out the back hatch.
Don't think I'm not eyeing that concealed display already.
