    Default THis is hard...

Still waiting on the detector to get back...

It feels so hard to drive...

i dont know but i think its harder for a radar detector user to speed without his radar then a regular person without a radar

i guess coz we know what we are missing out on thats why i fond it hard to speed

its so weird i am totally following the speed limit maybe 3-5 over but thats about it

a 400(DFW-san antonio-DFW)mile drive was so painful to drive!

cant wait to get it back!

    Tomorrow mine gets shipped off.

I'll have the 8500 back to use, but i've gotten use to the info on the V1 concealed display, now i'll be back to a flashing red light.

I know exactly how you feel. My v1 just arrived back to me on Friday. I was doing the same thing... Driving no more than 3-5 over, and nervous about that. My god it feels good to have my v1 back... Be ready for a shocker. The updated v1 is a lot more sensitive, appears to be responding faster, and arrows are updating directions a little quicker. I am having to relearn my normal driving routes around town as the amount of info the v1 is reporting is a lot different than before. It is picking up known alarms faster/earlier than before. So far I am pretty happy with the update. I will know more after a few weeks on the road with her. I just glad it made it back. Really takes the edge off that I have been feeling when on the road these last couple of weeks.

    Drive safe, have fun,

Don't you hate driving naked. ops: When my V1 made a trip in March to VR, then to Chris in Washington for a test in April then to Veil Guy in PA in May I had to buy an Escort X50 to get by.
I Returned the Escort after two months and still ran naked for a week or so. ops:
I think my V1 came back with a serious case of jet lag. Check your software version to see if it is 3.825 and let us know.
Or you could announce that it is 3.826 and watch the frenzy take off again.

I'm running the 825 now and have found it be amazing! ka seems to be the same as the 824 but better than the 813. they have fixed the delay mute section 7 abc but could still be a problem with the mute bogey alert (not sure yet) The best bit about the new 825 is the large L it seems (and is) to be a whole lot better than the 824 its great 8) ! it also cuts the falses alot faster than before. i Can run the radar around town on full volume now no worries it so good i think im gonna get away from the K band mute setting and run it in L now . you know even if the x50 had a little bit more ka on it :? who cares eh. This 825 is to be rewarded with 6 star+ its getting sooo close to the perfect Detector.its so balanced. Amen
