Default So it's not only Cobras!!!!

I pulled into the parking lot of a local Chinese place to pickup some takeout this afternoon. There sat a beautiful new Range Rover...while my wife oooeed and awhhhed over the car, my eyes were fixated on the front glass, where a beautiful V1 was mounted.....

I screamed "HEY THAT'S A VALENTINE ONE!" to my wife, who deduced i was talking about the rd. Then, as the wave of initial excitement subsided, I realized.....it was facing SIDEWAYS!!!!!!!

Yep, almost 45 degrees. At first, I thought it was just the face of it throwing me off. But I pulled up closer to the car and it was sideways city..... So even V1 owners aren't immune from stupidity......

But fear not, yesterday on a road trip I saw a Cobra with part of the plastic box still hanging on by tape....

    Hi Ace,

Try not this most disturbing news about how a V1 was mounted ruin the rest of your holiday weekend. I admit that it is quite a shock though!

how the hell would that be stuck to the window?

The only thing i can say is it may have fell off, with the power cord being on the right hand side if it came off the windscreen it would turn sideways on the dash if the curly cord was used....

Actually, I saw the exact same thing today. Walking through the outdoor mall we found a new-ish Audi A6 with a V1 mounted at the very bottom of the windshield. Some how it was pointed about 45 degrees to the left, which must have taken some effort to accomplish given how the mount is configured.

I will try but now that I know a V1 somewhere out there is being improperly used I am devastated

I will try and be strong, but I just don't know if I can do it!

Someone pass the drinks please now!

Just because you can afford to buy an expensive vehicle, and maybe they asked the sales person at the dealership "what is the best detector" does not mean they have the brains to use it.

I also have proven several times that education and intelligence are two completely opposite, and unrelated things!!

The most "school-Smart" people I know, just happen to be the dumbest people I know!

For instance, the neurosurgeon that repaired my broken neck needs to recite to himself "right-tighty, lefty-loosy" to open a jar of peanut butter!!

and look at alot of school teachers that are dunber then the kids they are supposed to be teaching!!

This person should be stripped of their V1 and all further rights to using one

V1 owners are supposed to be perfect or else damn close. Thats why so many use the LPP and V1. Its a damn lethal combo.

Oh yea, we also have our detectors mounted level and straight to the road (usually)
