Default V-1 Digital Compensation OR older models

Reading a recent post had me thinking---

With the older NON digital compensation models VS the newer Digital ones that are out now are they less prone to tune drifting?

it would be nice to now that the newer ones do not drift out of tune ever? or do they.....

If they do drift out of tune will it throw the "E" code to let you know its out of tune? We all know out older models can drft out of tune and we never really know how bad.....

From what I hear, the V1 will give an "E" when it falls out of tune. I'm not sure anyone has experienced the "E" for that specific reason yet.

I thought Jim or VR said that the V1 goes out of tune most of the time due to a failed capacitor or something?

Don't some go out of tune without displaying an E though?

Yes, some V1's can go out of tune w/out showing the "E" error.
