Default Brand New V1 pays for itself first time out

Going through a curvy 35 mph residential section on the way to work this morning. Brand New deputy sheriff mustang (looking for a car payment no doubt) had a customer on the side as I rounded the first curve - blue light special and he was filling out a gift certificate for him! My V1 didn't make a sound until I was past him, then lit up like a christmas tree - full band Ka. What the heck - my detector justout of the box yesterday was already screwing up  . It's suppose to signal BEFORE you get to him and the directional arrow was pointing dead ahead :?: :?: . Guess what was waiting around the next curve, not 600 feet away? His twin brother !!!

After a lot of research, I bought the best detector on the market and it was confirmed on the first date!

Does it get any better than this?

A detector only picks up a signal while the radar is in transmit mode. He may have clocked you (assuming he sitting in his car) as you passed. If his foward facing radar was in CO (constant on mode), you would have picked up the reflecting signals before you reached him.

Yep, the new generation of radars can get your speed from both the front and the back even while their car is moving. They can also get you going away and coming towards them.

Keep in mind though, the more off parellel their radar is, the more likely it is to be incorrect in speed. Therefore, you take it to court and win .

The way hes telling it is the first cop had a customer and not thinking he was wondering why he was beside him before it went off!! But really Cop 2 was on down the road a bit and it was Cop 2 that had the radar on not Cop-1.

So a lessoned learned right there--plus when he passed cop 1 the arrows were pointed AHEAD---Hmmmmm Cop-2 was waiting around the corner. Perfect example of why we LOVE our V-1's and arrows

Sounds like a V1 moment to me. You can send this story in to V1 and they would'nt even have to edit it like they usually do. Great story though.

    Default V1 is King!

    Thanks for the feedback guys!

And his twin brother was sitting in a mustang exactly like the one who already had a customer!!!!!! Sneaky little devils.

Yep, the directional arrows are what really swung me to the V1. This one save convinced me all the research was worth it. I'm sold for life.

    V1 does rock !!!!!!!!!!! :!:
