I have a pretty new V1 I've been using in the Lotus. Works great.
I wanted to use it on the Ducati, so I made a mount, bought a remote audio adapter and already had the remote display. I have not used the display in awhile, but last time I used it - it worked great.
Now when I put it on the bike. With the bike just turned on, or idling, everything is fine. When I ride it (or even rev it up) the remote display goes wacky. Little blips will show up, random arrows- and it even changed the mode at one point. When I unplugged the remote display, the detector worked just fine.
Any ideas? My first thought is power. I could put a cap or something in the power line to clean it up. Any thoughts I value and the best way to wire it?
I will try and test the remote display in the car, but I'm not sure exactly when I will have time and I'm leaving on a motorcycle trip next week. Sure would be good to have the display working.
I'm open to ideas/thoughts.
