    No, it's not updated yet.

After the H there should be a J code (for Junk?)

Yes the J stands for junk. I don't understand if it can classify it as a false alert, why it would even alert you to it.

Lets see, 66 milliseconds or 2/3 of 1/10 of one second, not a lot of time to make a decision.

It actually suppresses these sometimes (you just don't know it)

In the cases where alerts are terminated with a "J", when it first sees the Ka, it doesn't know for sure that it is junk, it has to report it to be safe.

Then, if it detects a "harmonic" (~23 GHz) after the alert started, then it knows it is from another detector and can terminate the alert with a "J" so that you know it wasn't police radar.

The V1 looks for the harmonic during the regular sweep. If it sees one within 10 seconds before the Ka signal, then it knows it is from another detector and doesn't alert. But, if it sees it after the alert is already in progress, it terminates it with a "J".

I actually got my V1 to display J. It was great, it made some strange beeps and automute until the car with the leaky detector passed me. Before the pop update, it would go off normally.

    A New Warning

V1 has a new feature. When the signal-identification system determines that a current warning is not, in fact, a radar threat, it notifies you with a ”dee-dah-doo” sound and terminates the warning. At the same time, a the letter “J” will flash briefly in the Bogey Counter.
