Impossible to tell which band at night

Is it possible to change the LED color with mod so you can easily tell which band is giving off alert, especially at night? I've seen LED mod on the concealed display but how about the main V1 unit? Thanks!

Most people won't touch the main unit due to the warranty issue, the concealed units are less risk. If you change the LEDs you can never get your V1 tuned again.

I thought you can send in your V1 for service (you pay at your cost) as long as the serial number is not tampered with?

use your ears grasshopper. Live with the V1 for a while and you won't need to look to see what band it is, you'll know by sound.

Your partly right, the other part is the internals of the V1 can't be tampered with either.

X3 on that!!!! Its like a woman, you need to learn what to listen for. What you react on and what you shouldnt. Tune everything else out and pay attention bc it will eventually keep your a$$ out of the dog house.

I've had my dad's V1 (3.789) for the past week and the first time I got a Ka alert it was unmistakable, even though I hadn't had a V1 in my personal vehicle in well over 2 years now. The only reason why I look at the display at all is to look at the arrows.

after using it for a month you will learn the tones. I personally like the ka tone the best. Well, i also love the laser too. I know some people love the X50 tones but they are "ok" to me. V1 laser rocks!!!

go on youtube and watch videos if u want to learn faster. K and x should be the easiest (since u get it all the time).
