Since I have had my V1 for 9 months, I've been using the coiled cord. Today I finally used the flat one. I have the V1 mounted at the top of the windshield and ran the cord over (went under the top part of the carpeted roof piece) and down the side (had to use a plastic butter knife) since it wouldn't go down and inside the beam. I then ran it on the side and under the glove compartment and then to the center where the power goes.
It looks nice and fits well. There was something that I sort of latched it onto under the glove compartment to make it a perfect fit.
My problem comes when I take the V1 off and hide it. Normally I leave the mount up, but now there's an RJ-11 connecter at the top of the windshield next to the mount, which is really obvious to the passerby. What should I do? Thanks.
Here's some pictures of the problem:
EDIT: BTW, it's not really obvious in the pictures, but above the Ez-pass, which can be seen in the second picture, there are dots or something on the windshield. The mount won't stick there (it will fall down). Is there any way I can get it there, since I'd rather have the V1 in the center, rather than on the passenger side?
