anyone want remote display with multicolor LEDs?

I have also decided that band identification is not particularly good with the Valentine system of 4 closely-spaced red LEDs.

I was getting ready to have the remote display installed above my stereo, but once it is in it will stay in for good using epoxy. So if I want multicolor LEDs, I must do it now or forever be unhappy with what is glued into my dash.

So, given minimum order quantities of LEDS and the fact that doing several is not much harder than doing one, I have decided to offer my services to anyone else on this forum who wants their remote display modified. Please respond ASAP, as I do not plan on waiting long before ordering parts and performing the mod and install on my own unit, preferably no more than two weeks.

I am thinking a price of $40 including parts and shipping is reasonable, $80 if I am to provide a new display from Valentine. I cannot spend time modifying units without being reimbursed, sorry. I am an electrical engineer with lots of soldering experience and the correct equipment, so your display is guaranteed safe with me.

I had thought of using the following scheme:

L - blue
Ka - red
K - yellow
X - green

I will make sure to use high-brightness LEDs. I will buy the parts and begin this order after receiving at least two firm orders for modification. I anticipate no more than two weeks turnaround time.
