I have heard that the 3.825 is quieter then the 3.819 unit.

Do you think this is true?

It's my understanding that you do not have to program it, the V1 determines whether the K band signal should be muted or alerted at the regular volume. Am I correct with that assumption?

Glad you finally got it back. You were going crazy there with all those posts. Jonesing a bit weren't you?

I've been driving around Seattle with the 3.835 on Advanced Logic for a couple weeks and it falses just as many times as the escort did. I love the detector!

So you like the X50 or V1? Two things that stand out to me. Laser sensitivity and on quick trigger tests the V1 alerts 100% of the time.

No conflict. When muting is enabled (7 set to "down arrow"), the other options specify when the mute is overridden (unmuted).

b, C, d specify the amount of time before unmute occurs. If set to 3 seconds, for example, K band alerts are muted for 3 seconds and then sound at normal volume.

E and F specify an automatic UNmute under certain conditions. Both these features are on by default (meaning setting them to "down" actually disables them). E, when set to "up", will cause K band alerts to NOT be muted if they START out at 4 bars or higher. This allows you to be alerted to instant-on threats. F, when set to "up", will cause K band alerts to be unmuted when they reach 6 bars or higher, even if it started out at less than 4 or 6. This allows you to be alerted to strong threats, even before the mute time expires.

I would leave E and F at the factory settings. This way you are alerted immediately to instant-on threats at 4 bars or higher, and to anything K band that breaks 6 bars. Anything else will be muted for 3 seconds.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!
