    Default Valentine One Email Address

The email addresses have been disabled on the main site. We should find a way to request a Spectre-proof solution so Mike can see how big his market really is. Hopefully, this will get him motivated to mover quicker.

on the vr site it says sales@valentine1.com

it also has a comments box on the vr site!

mike knows how big the market is but like roy zegers said mike may not bother to use his money on research on the spectre!

zegers said that unless usa bans detectors it wont make him spend his time and money on doing something which isnt gaining him!

in one way it would but 90% of sales are to usa the rest are outside usa!

at the moment his sales arnt affected !

if there is any company who is being affected it should be beltronics as they run the euro market, but theses havent come up with a spectre solution!

may be its to hard for mike to do it!

it must be hard because if it was easy the major companies would have forced stealth to close business by now!

i still think its rather strange that he's been making them 29 years yet roy zegers has stealthed the v1 not mike!

may be mike can stealth the v1 but if roy is charging $800 how can mike stealth the v1 and only charge £399!

without talking to mike on this problem we will never know why he hasnt stealthed the v1!

100% agreed. radar detectors arent illegal in the US except for 2 places. Why does anyone need a detector to be stealth? Until radar detectors are illegal in the US, its pointless.

i pointed this out before and it fell upon deaf ears. its perfectly legal in 49 states... sorry if you live in virginia / DC. sorry if you live in canada. oh well.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

there is no need to make your detector invisible.

You have obviously omitted a big segment of RD users. The truckers in this country are big RD users. They drive for a living professionally and a ticket could cost them their job. Quite a few even have a V1 hidden inside. A completely stealth RD would be very desirable to them as there are states like TX and others that already have a ton of Spectre RDDs.

Having Spectre immunity will help discourage state legislators from proposing radar detector bans.

As more and more legislators become aware of the Spectre, and that it works, they will get the idea that bans are now enforceable. As a result, you can expect to see more bans proposed.

They tried this in Indiana back in 1991. The insurance industry lobbyists were pushing the VG-2 and saying "hey now you can enforce a radar detector ban now that we have this." However, it was pointed out that the VG-2 didn't work all that well and detectors that were immune to it had just come on the market from BEL and VR. I'm sure that was part of the reason that the bill went down to defeat.

So, while radar detectors are legal most places in the US, Spectre immunity is important. To ignore this would be short sighed by the manufacturers and could eventually put them out of business.

I believe the most effective tool for truckers is the good old CB because if you think about it if there hit with a laser there done.
