    Default where to mount V1?

I have Honda Pilot, what is the best place/location to mount it?

I've heard that the best is right under the visor, I wonder if the same applies to SUVs since they are little higher then sedans.

    Default ???

That's interesting, because on the website: http://www.valentine1.com/lab/MikesLabRpt2.asp, it says

"Avoid putting your detector behind the tint band at the top, unless you're sure it has no effect. We found major losses due to the tint on some cars, and no additional losses on others"

If you have a tint strip obviously don’t put it there. Having it hang just below the tint strip/RVM works just fine. the tint strip never goes below the RVM.

Personally I put my RD's low in trucks and high in cars.
