Any Major New Updates/Releases From Valentine In Near Future
I was wondering if anyone had heard anything about Valentine releasing something new other than routine updates in the next few months. I am getting ready to purchase my first radar detector and this information would certainly help me in the decision process. It would seem as though it is time for Valentine to release its answer to the Escort 9500i although I know Valentines are still arguably the best radar detectors on the market. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

V1 wont ever change there product to compete with anyone, especaly the 9500I. Buy a V1 now, it will still be the same in 10 years.
Buy a V1 and dont waste money on any thing ... STI is also recommanded if you need the steath technology other wise ... V1 is great ... latest firm ware is 3.863... good luck and have a safe monitoring ...
V1 - 1.8 - 3.863 should be the most latest version. If you talk to that guy at the V1 office (the femanine voice) he says "we do upgrades and tweeks all the time" but why does V1 they play that political message?

I would not worry about political message or whatever its , if i were you then i would try to get my hands on to a V1 faster then taking anything ... so get the v1 and with time you will get the chance of changes and upgradeOriginally Posted by barry911

The V1 is the electronic version of the 2 finger smell test... LOL. It it beeps X band stay away, if beebs Ka then the coast is clear.
