Hahahaha, how is this stalking? Invading privacy? It's pictures of a building.
ahh , talking about what and where mike v mounts his V1 or what he drives ... and where are the boxes and boxes of v1 ...it sure for me but anyway i am on your side ... so peace .
It says on the V1 website to mount high for radar, low for laser, middle for a mix of radar/laser. Seeing who mounted their radar detector has nothing to do with privacy. Also, there are Porsche references all over the site and he posts on a Porsche forum.

Boxes at the back of a building... oh my gosh. Stop the presses.

I am not sure why everyone wants to see this building. At first thought it would be cool to see where the "magic" happens, but its just an office building. If you have seen one office building, you have seen them all. Also, do they actually manufacture the units there? It doesn't look like they have the space... Who cares where the receptionist sits... I want to see the factory! But they are probably made in some soup kitchen in China. Childrens tiny fingers are ideal for putting together sentive radar detection devices!

That is exactly why I posted the pictures. Also I thought it was neat.

So? What if someone not familar with the area was looking to visit and wanted to see what the outside of the building looked like to find it.

There is no receptionist. Back behind the glass is where the call center and repair techs are. When someone walks in, any employee that notices you will come to the lobby and help you.

Sorry, I guess I came off to harsh. I AM glad that someone posted pics of building. I was curious what it looked like, so thank you for taking the time and answering that question for me.

But after seeing it, it just begs more questions in my mind. Where are they actually built? Do you think that building is where they are assembled? I guess it was anti-climatic...

Obviously I am not 100% sure, but I would say they assemble them there.

Anyone running a V1 up high with an IR windshield? I just got a new one in my BMW but opted for the older style so I could put my 8500 up high without worrying about the interference. I know most Merc's have them and especially the new ones.

Most BMW guys I know with a IR w/s have them at the bottom where there is a little square and someone said that there may be some room at the top but I think it is limited. WHo knows, maybe the M class has a little more room for a RD? Anyone vouch?

Pop art is a visual art movement that emerged in the mid 1950s in Britain and in parallel in the late 1950s in the
United States. The coinage of the term Pop Art is often credited to British art critic/curator, Lawrence Alloway in an
essay titled The Arts and the Mass Media, although the term he uses is "popular mass culture" Nevertheless,
Alloway was one of the leading critics to defend mass culture and Pop Art as a legitimate art form. Pop art is one of
the major art movements of the twentieth century. Characterized by themes and techniques drawn from popular mass culture,
such as advertising and comic books, pop art is widely interpreted as either a reaction to the then-dominant ideas of
abstract expressionism or an expansion upon them. Pop art, like pop music, aimed to employ images of popular as opposed to
elitist culture in art like having own photos to canvas, emphasizing the banal or kitschy elements of any given culture. It has also been defined by the
artists use of mechanical means of reproduction or rendering techniques that down play the expressive hand of the artist.
Pop art at times targeted a broad audience, and often claimed to do so.

Much of pop art is considered very academic, as the unconventional organizational practices used often make it difficult
for some to comprehend. Pop art and minimalism are considered to be the last modern art movements and thus the precursors
to postmodern art, or some of the earliest examples of postmodern art themselves.

WTF does this have to do with the topic? We sometimes discuss pop RADAR here, not pop art. And don't forget to give Wikipedia credit for providing those two paragraphs from their article on pop art.
