Just ordered a new V1 and I have a few noob questions

I just ordred a new V1 and remote displa for my 2005 legacy GT. Do you guys have any tips on an optimal install location? Also any suggestions on how to configure it properly for use in local Orange County California would be helpful as well. I also ordered the shield for my front plate as well. A shop in the area that could do all of this for me would be ideal. Thanks for helping a noob guys.

manual would say put it above or near the rearview mirror

V1- mount high

try to hardwire it

anymore questions, there are a lot of V1 owners here more then willing to answer them
