I need to know if V1 can still detect POP from very close range even when POP is disabled on V1. Have anyone done this before?

I don't know about Ka band POP and Jimbonzz may be able to answer that. I can tell you that even with POP on with 16ms POP K band, the V1 won't chirp at 5 ft.
Anyone? Come on.
Well I would think--POP off that would be a no.
POP is 67ms or 16ms.
With POP mode on, the V1 can usually detect the 67ms sort.
With POP mode off, the V1 cannot detect true POP, but can detect short-triggered IO in the non-POP Ka bands better than with POP on.
Guys,
for some reason I'm not convinced. Have anyone actually tried to shoot POP at V1 that had POP disabled and it didn't detect?
You have to be specific if it's K or Ka band POP 67ms or K band POP 16ms?Originally Posted by Serg
Why do you have to make this so complicated? I asked for POP, it doesn't matter if it's K or Ka band. I know there are not that many people with POP guns so I need to know if anyone actually shot V1 with POP (any band). You have to be specific if it's K or Ka band POP 67ms or K band POP 16ms?
V1 with POP on or off will not chirp with 16ms K band POP burst at 5 feet.Originally Posted by Serg
You have to PM jimbonzz since he has the 67ms Ka band POP.
Check the GOL archives - POP tests have been performed before.
