    Default V1 concealed display

I got the V1 concealed display to install down at the bottom of my instrument panel. Plan was to have a display high and low so I would always have a clear shot of the arrows. When I bench tested the concealed display I noticed the V1 blacked out its indicators. Now, that makes sense for 99% of people buying the concealed display but I would like it to display both. Is this possible?

No. The V1 doesn't send out any "remote display data" until it senses the remote display connected, at which point it also blanks the main display. IF there's a way to do it, it would require actually modifying the V1 itself.

Can you hookup an RJ-11 splitter and run two CDs to meet this purpose though?

This might work....I only see two issues.

    1. That's $60 total.
    2. Would they receive enough power? I'm not sure how the power is received.

Here is a site with some good info on the CD:

Attached in the thread is a PDF file. It gives great info on the CD.

I assume you want both to display because neither is in a particularly great spot.

Have you considered the setup below for your C6? This particular unit is the "slimmed" one modified by a guy on Flea bay. It came with a remote micro switch that serves as an additional mute switch.
