I have no problem admitting it. I have never owned anything but V1. I started out with 3.851, went vintage with 3.812, found the holy grail of 3.813, and moved passed it's hype onto my 3.863, not to mention the other 7 I've had one night flings with. It got me thinking I've never even tried anything else. So today, I did the unthinkable, and bought an escort! I picked up an Escort SR7. Its coming this weekend, and should be installed over Christmas break. The v1 will still be staying in the car for it's superior range, but I want to know the exact bandwidth and have some laser protection. I'll keep you guy updated.

Jammers are illegal in Illinois, so ZR3 was the most attractive because you can turn them to receive only, hopefully quickly, in case I ever get in trouble.

Do you think that will give you much protection with the jammer turned off? I would guess no more than the V1?
