I have a Q regarding your fuse install, did you use an exsisting fuse or an open fuse? Also, did you wrap the wire around the blade then plug it back in the fuse box, I do not see an Add an Fuse. I am wondering if you did the wrap around, how safe is it?

Yeah, I plug the wire into the base of one of the fuse terminals. The power wire is then fused inline. I've done it for years in many different cars and not had a problem to date. I'm sure same crack stereo installer would have issue with it but as long as the wires are kept separate harnessed and individually fused I don't see a problem with it.

I used to do that as well with an older car. I wonder if an Add a Fuse is a little safer since the circuit would be double fused?

It would have to be a little better but in a way the set up is already double fused. As long as you tap into one side of the fuse terminal if the fuse breaks it still shuts down your device.

Since you have the SR7 in spec mode w/ZR3 shifter upgrade, I guess you are using the ZR3 for the display? so you have 1 display not 2?

No, just one. These pix are from my temporary installation of the ZR3. My SR7 receiver needed retuning. Since the SR7 will constantly alert "service receiver" if I disconnect it. I pulled the head and installed the ZR3. When the SR7 came back I reinstalled the SR7. No pix of that since my daughter the camera-girl was playing Halo 3 upstairs.

1st. 45/35. (couldn't hear my SR7 over my stereo: solution: bought the external speaker) Traffic lawyer got the ticket dismissed because of errors on the citation. This process took about 5 hours sitting in court.

2nd 45/35 (Pre-ZR3 lasered from 1200ft. The SR7 promptly alerted me that I was toast: solution: Get the ZR3) Traffic lawyer got the ticket dismissed by negotiating with the prosecutor. In the end he agreed since I have a clean DR. I had to put down $100 for court fees but they dismissed the mover. Which is all I'm really interested in.
