    Default I'm In.............!!

Well I pulled the trigger Christmas night and received my V1 for my Lexus IS350 on Friday. One hour later my mirror mount arrived UPS. So I was lovin it as I was hardwiring my new RD to my mirror and getting everything just right.

I finished this morning and the wife and I went for a ride this afternoon and I can tell the V1 is going to be great! I will leave it stock for now and get use to how it reacts to everything and see what is going on around me, and then will probably adjust as I see needed.

Great info on the board here and I'm sure I'll have some questions.

    Very nice.

May I ask where you bought your mirror mount from?

I did not think so, I have seen many mirror mounts like this/that one, and other car specific mounts, but this looks different more universal perhaps, I dont know.

I have to look around again, it really is a great mount to get.

That's V1's visor mount, which he bent up and glued or velcroed to the RVM.
Maybe I am wrong, but it looks exactly like a modified V1 visor mount.

BTW,I have my V1 mounted in the same place like you and it works much better
    under RVM,than above RVM.

It is the C6 "New" mirror mount from Greatlakestrophies.com

I called and talked to Ed the owner and after our discussion I decided to try this C6 mirror mount out. I had to use a dremel tool to shave off a little bit on one of the sides to fully uncover a sensor on my mirror. Other than that I had to make some minor adjustments to make it sit right but these were very slight.

I am very happy with the fit and way it looks. I had ordered a mount from the country craft place but they were out and said it would be a month but I am too impatient to wait a month. I found this one and the rest is history.

Very satisfied!! And lovin the V1!

I've seen a similar bracket like that for the 350Z. It looks pretty slick too.
