    Default Hardwiring a V1

Hey I was going to try and hardwire my friends new V1, but once I got to the fuse box I was not about to mess anything up since it was not as easy as I thought. In the end I bought a 20ft RJ-11 and just hid the wire under the headlining exc then just plugged into the cig adapter. Anyway, I have searched this site and found nothing, but I was wondering if anyone had a picture of their actual tap into the fuse box with the V1 Red/Black cables and their fuse tap. On this particular mercedes, all of the fuses had numbers from 7.5 then 15 and then 30 on them. What do those mean? is that the Amp? Thanks.

Yes, that is the AMP rating of the fuse.

i hardwired mine into the cig lighter wiring. the red wire onto the red cig lighter wire and bolted the negative ground onto a nearby bolt on the inner car body and its working fine.

i also wired in a kill switch under the steering wheel by my knee
