Default Just a warning on laser alerts.

Tested out my laser interceptor today, the V1 did great at picking up the LTI 20/20 both in 100pps and 125pps, the Pro laser III along with the stalker. And it picked it up when aiming at the lower bumper of the car along with the headlights...

The only issue is when driving with the sun hitting the front of the car the V1 was silent 95% of the time. So you do get a very very significant performance loss when the sun is shining onto the V1. So be careful when driving west into the setting sun or east into the raising sun.

And the laser detection from behind is superb. (Aim at rear plate), (I have 20% rear tint and my V1 is mounted high up to the right of my rear view mirror)

Good point about the sun. A couple times a year the sun is at the right angle to blind my garage door sensors, not allowing the door to close after I open it. I guess the V1 has the same problem picking up IR when blinded by the sun.

My V1 sits just at the bottom of the factory tint line. I wonder if that will give some protection from the sun interfering.

I read on here somewhere that mounting behind the tint strip does in fact help with the sun interference. I say we just get rid of the sun altogether.

No we found that the V1 can be nearly blinded by the sun during some of our testing. Mine is also just below the window tint. This had no affect to increase the detection from the sun blinding it.

Lennon for sure, and we'll make it so Ringo isn't such a loser nowadays.
