    Default Little L mode question.

I have the K-band automute on, in little L mode, set for 4 dots/30 seconds. If I turn the muted volume all the way down, and get an x alert, will I hear it or no?

No, you will not hear weak strength X band LED's in little L mode with muted volume all the way down that's what it is designed for at factory default.
Did either of you read the manual?

X will be at regular volume if it strength increases , doesnt remain at muted forever.

Yes, but if I am interpreting Cips question correctly he was simply comparing X and K in a logic mode which is doing the same thing.

Just happened to try my V1 with X band enabled yesterday. X band was also muted to 30 sec in small L.

Tried my 1.7 in the garage on X band, no time limit passes 30,60,120 breaks at 4-LED's then cover the antennas and it goes back to mute.

I did discover what other people have already that my factory Nav/radio sets off laser.

I did read the manual, but was confused as to why there was no mention of the K-Band automute at all. After reading what I read on here I assumed the X-Band and K-Band automute worked seperately from each other.

That's because MV is big on situation awareness and does not like people disabling protection, even though the V1 has been around since 92' he did not even post the reprogram chart until around 99' and purposely does not print it in the manual for this reason.

There was a time that when you heard a K band it was the real thing. (no falses)
