Question for V1 users about POP?

I've been thinking of getting a V1 down the road. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced a true POP alert and if so, how does it appear on the display? I didn't think V1 specifically identifies POP signals (some detectors display "POP"), or does it?

Correct, there is no seperate alert for POP. As far as confirm use of POP, basicly, no one has a true confirmation, there is no way of knowing that a detector just ID a fragmented reflection of a frequency. As far as POP, I think there is one state that is highly suspect of using POP mode. But that is all. IO and Laser are still the biggest threats.

The only way to know a cop was using POP is to see him activate POP mode and shoot at a car. Even detectors that try to identify POP specifically often fail and report regular IO as POP.

The V1 has no special display for POP. I've personally found the level of falsing on POP to be low with the V1, even bearable for everyday driving.
