I figure since people usually complain about the J-out feature's faults, I would post an encounter tonight where the J-out worked flawlessly.
On the way home from work, I started picking up a Ka bogey up ahead. Shortly afterward, a second Ka bogey appeared. A few seconds later, I got a "J" and the 2nd bogey disappeared, but the V1 dutifully continued tracking the first bogey. As I saw the arrows change from front to side/rear, I spotted a statey headed in the other direction.
So, my V1, exposed to a real LEO's radar and a presumed el crappo RD, sorted them out beautifully.
So, the "J" feature does work great, at least in some/most instances.
