Today I received a forward facing alert that was atleast a mile or more.
I received my first blip at around 1.5 to 2 miles miles (estimating). Then the alert went away for about 10 seconds. At probably around 1 mile away, i started getting a consistent alert at 1-2 LEDs. It was a Stalker Ka gun typical of the CHP around the state.
Many CHP are leaving the rear antenna off now. He had someone pulled over and when I passed him the V1 lit up like a Christmas tree (proving it was forward facing I first detected)
There is simply no word to describe this but amazing. How in the heck is the V1 so sensitive even when there is being no radar shot at it?
