V1 save of the day thread

hey guys, how about we sticky this thread and just post our amazing save(s) of the day here? it might make the forum a little neater, since everyone likes to post up their awesome saves =) just an idea

on the way to work today i got brief Ka alerts from the rear that came on every 30 seconds or so. a few miles further the signal became constant from the rear with about half strength. i turned down a road that was parallel from the one i was driving on and started going 15 over PSL around a big curve and up a hill, by that point the Ka had disappeared. when i was about an 1/8 of a mile ahead and down of the hill i noticed the car behind me that turned with me was at the top of the hill. at that moment Ka lit up 6 LED's from the rear and i braked quickly. i looked to my rear and there was a county sheriff 2 cars behind me. if i didn't have a v1 with the amazing sensitivity and rear antenna then i would have been toast right as i was in range.

We do have the "Real Experiences" sub-forum for posting those awesome saves. Plus then everyone can participate, not just the V1 users.

my best save EVER was when i was drivin on 95 in NH..the NH state police sit under the overpasses shooting i/o K, Ka and laser...anyways i was doing about 90 when i see this thing under the overpass..as soon as im about to say cop i get a laser alert from the v1...i was about 1/2 mile from the overpass so he couldnt get me and there were ars in front of me...i swerved over instantly and was good 8)

Well I suckered one of my friends into getting a RD yesterday. I was driving home after school and we both go down the same road. This cop hides in this cemetery(sick bastards) and I got an alert and I hit my breaks. Thankfully my buddy saw my break lights because he knows I have a detector. He says if it wasn't for my and my detector he would have been toast.

I just hope I can get him to spit over $400 so I can turn him into a V1 zombie
