    I was at red light, and it J'ed out a real KA threat....

    The problem is still very much alive..

    Tell us you weren't premature in sending VR more money for a problem that hasn't been fixed yet?

    Several people have had this problem with 825.

    Well I had 3.819 and send it in because of $#$%##$ Sethy bragging. The J problem WAS fixed on 3.819. Damn you Seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeethy! :cry:

    Guys, I was at a red light for about a minute with the thing going ape sh*t, i knew it was a cop, but then it J'ed it out.

    There have been reports that the 3819 have also J'ed out real alerts.

    It should be quieter, it 's not alerting to real radar.

    Here is my question to people who have experienced the problem. Does it ever do it in such a manner that you might have missed the threat and been busted? Or does it not happen until you are already on top of the officer/already certain that it is a real threat?

    How close do you have to be to the radar unit for the V1 to "J" out? I passed an oncoming Indiana State Trooper with a Python Ka band radar. He was two lanes away and it did not "J" out.
